Letters from the Inside
Objective: Design a book cover for a book collaboratively written by an inmate and his elementary school teacher.
Insights: Both Jorge and Bronwyn wanted the cover to embody the idea of hope, which was a challenging concept since Jorge was not more than a child when he was put in in jail . I was lucky enough to be able to source an image for the cover that looks like what I imagine Jorge may look like as an adult, based on the existing image we had of him from his elementary school years.
